THE VARIETY OF WELDING PROCESSES AVAILABLE GIVES GREAT FLEXIBILITY IN DESIGN
Vera Cruz offers a comprehensive range of welding services, the selection of which depends largely on the application. We have manual MIG/MAG* machines suitable for a wide number of applications. Using this it is possible to weld both mild and stainless steel.
For large volume repetitive work, we have a MIG* welding Motoman Robotic welding cell. This cell is fitted with two 2-axis manipulators, which increases the flexibility of the welding cell.
Should you require an aesthetically pleasing weld we also offer TIG welding. Our qualified welders have many years of experience in welding all manner of steels, including aluminium.
Spot welding is another facility we employ to thermally join steel. Many products do not require continuous welded joints and, in such an application, spot welding usually proves to be a far more economical option.

*Metal inert gas (MIG) and metal active gas (MAG) welding are the most common welding methods in Europe, the USA and Japan. Their popularity is attributable to the high productivity gains offered by these methods, coupled with the fact that MIG/MAG systems are easy to automate and integrate into robot stations.
