The last few years have seen the emergence of ever more powerful 3D CAD software. This is largely due to the ever-increasing computing power of desktop PCs. It is now possible to model complicated parts very quickly and accurately in 3-D. Once correctly modelled, these parts can be rapidly prepared for manufacture. As a result, one's imagination is often the only limiting factor in design.
Vera Cruz has been using SolidWorks as the basis for it design for many years now. Solidworks has established itself as the benchmark in CAD software, and is compatible with most major drawing packages.
