2008 has been our biggest year ever in terms of capital expansion and projects tackled. Not only did we purchase and install five new Trumpf machines, but we even managed to move into our new factory!
2009 shows no signs of slowing either – plans and negotiations are underway for even more ambitious projects. We have placed an order for a Salvagnini panelbender, which should arrive in the first quarter of 2009. This will be our single most expensive machine to date and it represents the pinnacle of sheet metal technology.
We are also currently working on plans to build a state-of-the-art powder coating facility. When completed, this will be one of the most modern and automated plants in Southern Africa.
