Vera Cruz Manufacturing used the tenth annual Forest to Falls mountain bike race in Graskop last month to launch its cycling team. Members of the newly formed Team Vera Cruz entered the 35 km half marathon as well as the full marathon of 75 km. The courses were challenging but, as with most riding in the Mpumalanga area, extremely rewarding. VERA CRUZ ADDS MOTOMAN ROBOTIC WELDER

Vera Cruz has recently commissioned a second Motoman Robotic welder. The Motoman-HP20 6-axis robotic manipulator, fitted with an SKS MIG welding torch is virtually identical to the first unit which has been running for approximately 2 years.

Early on Monday the 26th of January, we get the question – ‘Where do these trucks go?’. That can mean only one thing - our panel bender is here! Immediately, the scale of our investment is apparent. OUR PANEL BENDER IS ON ITS WAY!

As announced at our recent open day, Vera Cruz has officially placed an order for a Salvagnini P4 2516 Panel Bender. This machine will be leaving the Salvagnini plant in Austria on the 15th of December and should arrive in Durban on the 27th of January. Once the machine arrives in Johannesburg, the 6 weeks installation and training will begin. This means that the machine should be fully operational by the end of March.
